Henry Hart Spalding Scrapbook
Henry Hart Spalding, the son of missionaries Henry Harmon and Eliza Hart Spalding, was one of the first children born to two white parents in the Oregon Territory. This scrapbook was probably his notebook when he was a high school student in the 1850s; news clippings from the 1860s-1870 are pasted over some earlier text.
Henry L. Bates Papers
Henry Liberty "Prin" Bates, served as the last principal of Tualatin Academy (1893-1915), and thereafter, as professor of philosophy and dean of faculty at Pacific University until his retirement in 1926. The collection chiefly consists of six large scrapbooks that he compiled while studying at Oberlin College and working at Tualatin Academy and Pacific University.
Mary Abigail Reasoner Cole Memory Book
Mary Abigail Reasoner Cole was a Tualatin Academy student in the late 1850s. Her memory book contains poems and notes written by other students at the Academy, probably on the occasion of her leaving school to get married.
Pacific University Mothers' Club Records
The Pacific University Mother's Club was a volunteer organization that participated in fundraising and student activities from the 1930s until at least the 1960s. This collection includes a scrapbook, meeting minutes and other records of the club.

Psychological Warfare Branch Scrapbook of American Propaganda Leaflets
The Psychological Warfare Branch of the United States Armed Forces was a military unit that created and distributed propaganda during the Second World War. The scrapbook contains approximately 200 pieces of their propaganda, mostly in Japanese, that were intended for distribution in the Philippines, Japan, and other nearby areas. Each item is accompanied by a typed translation into English.
Daisy Annita Rice Botanical Specimen Album
Daisy Annita Rice was a high school and music conservatory student at Tualatin Academy in Forest Grove, Oregon, around 1905-1909. The album contains of pressed flowers and other plants, which she probably collected for a class there.
